Hello! My name is Bailey, and I'm the owner and caretaker behind Itsy Bitsy Jumpers. By day, I'm a full-time Sports Apparel Assistant Manager in the real world, but in my free time, you can almost always find me caring for my jumpers, building enclosures, or spending quality time with my fiance.

Believe it or not, I didn't always love spiders... actually, I had some pretty strong arachnophobia. I was terrified of anything with eight legs. Well, all that changed when my fiancé surprised me with my very first jumping spider. I was pretty nervous, but something about those big, curious eyes and gentle little hops just completely melted my fear. I fell in love almost instantly.

It snowballed from there. I spent hours researching, studying their behavior, learning proper husbandry practices, and talking with keepers and breeders. One jumper became two… and then five… and eventually, I realized this wasn't a hobby anymore; it was something I genuinely cared about.

I have kept, studied, and cared for jumping spiders for a little over a year now, and what began as fear turned into a passion that changed my life. My goal is to help others experience that same joy while giving every spider the safest, healthiest start possible.
